07 Steering wheel audio controls

I recently had to replace my battery on my o7 f-150. After replacing the battery I found that a fuse had blown on the AC compressor. After replacing the fuse, all worked fine except the audio controls in the steering wheel. Radio works fine at the unit, just not at steering wheel. Any Ideas? Thanks

Check fuse #1 in the under hood aux relay box.

Fuse #1 powers the illumination for the switches, but the same circuit runs through the audio and the EATC controls.

Looking at it, it does not make much sense this would cause it, but worth checking with a meter on both pins on the back of the fuse to a known good ground.

Thanks for the input. I pulled fuse #1 along with 3 others related to the radio. They all looked good but I will re-check. Was hoping it was something as simple as a fuse but I am afraid I may not be that lucky.

2 things.

1. fuse #1 in the under hood aux relay box

2. Pulling a fuse and staring at it is not an indication of good, testing with a meter to both pins on the back of the fuse is the only way to know if the fuse is good or not. Keep in mind the key position when testing.
