One switch,2 windows?

2002 F-150 XLT Supercrew

Drivers side window switch is no good.

I want to "Jump" the drivers side window off the passengers side window switch.

I know it will probably pretty slow, and both windows will go up&down @ the same time.I'm well a wear off that.

I'm including a pic off the switch and the wire colors,if its possible please just tell me in simple terms......

Example: "red/black 2 yellow/white" ect ect

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP I APPRECIATE IT VERY MUCH!

Not too sure if the switch contacts will handle the load of 2 power window motors, but you can try a quick test to find out.

Unplug the pigtail at the motor ( converts power window wiring to the factor wiring ) and jumper it to
White w/ Yellow stripe wire & Tan w/ light blue stripe wire.

This is the up / down pair to the passenger side switch. Just need to make sure you unplug the pigtail from the factory harness, 1 side of the power window motor is connected to the GEM for the OTD function.

It looks like the pair combo
White w/ Yellow stripe wire to where the Orange w/ white stripe wire was
Tan w/ light blue stripe wire to where the white w/ black stripe wire was.

Make sure when you test it, you can reverse the polarity, if this is not correct.
Once you have it correct, best to t-tap solder the wires and tape them. This will be a high current inrush application, and scotch locks are not the best for that install long term.

Once you have it working, it might work fine for 2 months or forever.
Beyond if it will work at all, I don't know if there is a long term issue with the switch contacts with 2x the current load on them.
