i have 2006 xlt the pass window will go down but not up replaced switch pack did not change anything does this truck have a boby control modgule? and does it go throught it thanks for anybodys help
Ford does not have a BCM, that is a GM item. It has a VSM ( vehicle security module ), but the windows are not part of that.
Have you tried applying power directly to the pig tail on the power window motor to see if it will operate that way ?
While you are testing the power window motor directly, use a meter on the pigtail lead towards the switches, to see if you are getting power in both the up and down direction. When you plug the meter leads into the connector and press the window switch up the meter will give a reading ( i.e. + 12.6 VDC ).
When you press the switch the other way, the meter should show the reverse polarity ( i.e. -12.6 VDC ).
The polarity might be the other way, depending on how you plug the meter in, but the important part is that the meter has the same reading + & - for switch. If one direction has no reading, then it is time to test the passenger side switch for an issue, and check the wires in the rubber boot from the door to the a pillar on both sides.
