window with a mind of its own

I have 98f150 super cab driver side power window works when it wants to i have replaced door control switch and motor check wire between door checked fuses . one day you start truck and its working perfectly no bines no slow downs.the next day it just wont work at all.very confused

When it is not operational, do the lights on the truck dim ( similar to when the window is down, and you press the down button again ) ?

Is it always not working in the same direction ( up or down or both ) ?

If it is down, are you pressing the button far enough to activate the OTD feature, or are you only part pressing the button as in the down function ?

The days it is not working, has it rained ?

to answer your question the window when it works it works perfectly .when it doesnt it wont work at all it very seldom stops working when its working until i go to start it the next day then it wont work or it will. i dont think it has nothing to do with dampness i do think when it is not working its electrical i have tried tests and there is power to the switch when it is not working there is no power coming to motor is there a relay or hidden something i am missing thank you for the come back.

no i have come up with one solution i think it is the g.e.m.pack the wireing goes though it how do i get to it and is there a way too bypass this the moter will work with battery
