I am looking for help in removing the static from the radio when using the AM radio. I have read that it is a problem with the ground in the fuel pump that is causing the problem. Anyone have any ideas on fixing the problem.

I bought the truck used, and it is way out of warranty, so I would prefer answers that I might do myself. Since the dealer probably won't contribute much to help.
