Skeezdog; Email me at fourhour@yahoo.com and I will forward the wiring diagrams you requested. Please mention this in the
subject column. I scanned them into my PC but don't know how to post them here. Any help from the other members on posting?
I know how to change my signature but forgot how to post another picture! Damn!

They list the wire, color of wire and location. They may not be all you need but it might be a start. I installed a keyless entry/alarm this past weekend using this list and I was able to locate all they wires easily.

Thanks Pharm! Did you have keyless entry before?
Anybody know if there is a difference in power door locks on our trucks that have keyless entry vs. those that are without. I do not have keyless entry therefore I am wondering if I need relays to reverse the polarity of the door switches?

Skeezdawg,
I have a 97 XLT that does not have the factory keyless entry. When I purchased the bulldog keyless entry I also had to buy the dual relay so that system would work with the trucks wiring. Whatever brand of system you purchased should also offer the relays to go along with the system. You will also need a voltmeter with a digital reading to make sure you are connecting the correct lock/unlock wires. The lock and unlock wires each have a switch side and motor side.
The only problem I had was the removal of the faceplate around the headlight **** in order to connect to the parking light wire. The faceplate and the connections behind it all come out in one piece. When the panel below the faceplate is removed you will need to look from the underside for a sliding lever on the bottom near where the wires plug into the headlight controls. After this one is released the headlight controls can be pulled out enough so the lever on the top can be released with a screwdriver. This is probably a little vague but maybe it will help.

UPDATE!! Somebody emailed me for the wiring diagram today and I was unsuccessful at forwarding it to him as well as posting it in my photo gallery. It seems the file was too big. My sincere apologies to all and thanks to those that bailed me out.
