[New Owner] Found This Under the Seat

Cab anyone identify this part? I found it under the seat not bolted to anything.

Does it have a mounting location?

I just did a Google search on the part number (F4UF-188849-AB). It's a FORD 95 WINDSTAR AMP/AMPLIFIER 1995, whatever the heck that's for.

its an audio amplifier from the looks of it. They usually hide them under the seats on premium models that "need" the external amp.

Thanks.. well I bet it is no longer needed as the unit was changed to a Sony before I got it and the Sony doesn't work at the moment.. .. at least it's not the Body Control Module or Engine Control Module -- LOL. The truck did come with a premium sound system from what I can tell.. It's a shame people butcher up basically good sound systems over a minor problem.. I'll try unhooking it now to see what happens
