power mirrors

power mirrors

2001 f150....power mirrors both stopped working...know which fuse controls them?

just bought this truck so...found fuse 4 was missing...installed fuse...driver side mirror pivots up and in and the passenger side mirror pivots up and out only....switch problem or mirror motor problem?

I would say switch problem, as the switch only moves the mirrors the same direction ( in on one side is out on the other ).

Remove and test the switch prior to purchasing a new one.

removed the switch and unplugged the harness then reconnected it and it worked...thanks scully
