It's FIXED!!!!
Took it to dealership yesterday; picked it up today. They gave me a 2012 Fusion to drive over night, too! (Pretty nice little ride, BTW).
Total cost = $18.63. You saw that right, 18 dollars and 63 cents.
WooooHoooo!!! I love my dealer!!

I think all the tech did was to clean the connection point under the bed. I could have easily checked that myself, except I'm still on crutches, nursing a bum foot after my motorcycle get-off.

Don't know why such a low charge...seems to me the dealer ought to at least have a minimum fee of some type. I would have gladly paid $69.95 or something, just to get it fixed. Left turn signal is kinda important, especially at night. And I'm in no condition to work on it myself at present time.

The dealer is a real nice guy, though. I've known him for over 25 years. Maybe he gave me a "special". I didn't ask for anything special, but am grateful nonetheless.
