Relay for Trailer?

I have a new 2011 Ford F 150 and when it was delivered there is a relay in the glove box.I assume it is for the trailer but I can't find any info on where it goes in the fuse and relay box.I believe I need it in order to get a 12 volt hot wire in my seven pin trailer plug, but am not sure.Any help would be appreciated.I live in Virginia Beach and I bought the truck from my grand daughter in Michigan. In other words I never got a run down on the relay or anything else for that matter from a salesperson. The truck was delivered to my home....Thanks in advance

I am taking a SWAG ( based upon my '01 - so take it with a gain of salt ), but I would say it is for the trailer tow adapter battery charge circuit.

Looks like relay slot #9 in the engine compartment fuse panel ?

double check you owners manual against what is installed in the truck.

The trailer tow adapter install directions might be stuffed in the owners manual case, it is a 8.5x11 page size, ~ 6 pages ??

I only have the PDF of my '01 and '06 directions, so that does you no good.

Got ur done, the relay was in fact for the trailer plug.I installed the fuse and relay and now I have the lead in the seven prong plug energized. I can also pull a connection off the center lead for my reverse trigger wire.
Thanks for all your help.I hope I can help someone here on this forum in the future to pay it forward. Thanks again
