Question Heated seats on a timer?

Are the heated seats in my 2008 f150 lariat on a timer? They always shut off after a certain amount of time. My last car you could leave them on as long as you want.

If they are on a timer, is there anyway to take them off the timer so that I could leave them on for as long as I want?

The diagram shows a temp probe in the bottom heated seat cushion, that when the thermistor changes state ( gets hots enough ) it shuts off the heated seat module.

They are. User manual says 10 minutes. At least on my 04. Kind of annoying however they are plenty hot.

Thanks for the reply. Mine don't get that hot though, I find I have to keep turning them back on just to feel some warmth. Does this sound like there may be a problem with the heated seat?

Mine r same way. Sometimes hot and sometimes not enough. Seems like right around when they turn off they get warm. Would love to bypass and keep on, but worry about overheating and fire.
