Train Horn Installation

Hey All, Looking to put a train horn (by HornBlasters) on my truck. Any tips for installation? Is this going to be a tough install? Is it better left to the professionals?

actual nathan airchime train horn or just a beefed up air horn?

installation isnt difficult once you get your layout on where everything is going to be placed. JWalton is a member here and he has pretty good thread showing how he installed is. do you know how to run wires and relays? if so then it's just a lot of thinking and planning to make sure each wire is ran to the right place.

i mounted my compressor and tank in a tool box then ran the lines to my horns which are where the spare tire used to be. Hornblasters offers pretty good customer service and help so atleast your going to the right place.

you should join trainhornforums.com to get more ideas and specialized help..

Didn't ask for instructions or a how to do it - was just curious if anyone had any TIPS for installation. Also, is this something a novice should do or is this something better left for the professionals? These are meant to attract peoples opinion....thats all.

If you know anything about how to install car stereos then you should be able to handle installing horns......
