speedometer won't work at all.
This is a 98 F150 extended cab. The speedometer, odometer and cruise control suddenly quite working. Is there a sensor, fuse or cable that could be the culprit? It has just over 100000 miles on it.

did you have recall 05S28. Description: Speed Control Deactivation Switch completed ( think your MY truck was on the list ) ?
The speedo is a manual item with a cable if I am not mistaken ( gear driven item that is usually changed when larger tires are installed ), so it could be you have 2 different problems at the same time.
