hey so Im currently flipping a 1999-2000 f150 and having some issues starting the new engine.I am aware it may be p.a.t.s. but thought it wouldnt hurt to check with you guys first,So here is the delima when we connect the battery an turn the key on the shifter locks and will not move out of ark gear. The theft lights flashes but slowly then say when you open the door.So any advice on that would be a great help.Also i put a 5.4 triton out of a 97 3/4 ton an scrapped the 4r100 an put the original 4r70 in it an when we by pass the nuetral safety switch my starter doesnt wizz just clunks im awre between the 2 years there 2 types of starters the one with a cone head shaped cover an the other is flat and cant decifer between the 2. if ya stumble upon my thread here an i can pic your brains about it it would be a great help thank you.
