12v question

Hey guys I have a SuperCab with the jumpseat and I'm looking at doing a flow through console swap--how do I go about switching/disconnecting/connecting the 12v that is currently in my jumpseat into the new console?

I know there is a space for the connection but I didn't know how difficult the process would be...

Hard to tell from your post, is there a factory power port in the jump seat ( I never seen one to be 100% sure ) ?

The connector should be the same on the power point, even though there are 2 different numbers for it.

If not, it should only be 2 wires ( it is on the console ) to splice together.

The rear power port is :

fuse F37 -> Violet w/ orange stripe wire -> power port
Ground -> black wire -> power port

The 2006 EVTM shows this as the same for with center console and without center console.

Scully,

Sorry for the confusing post--yep, my jumpseat does actually have a factory power point located at the bottom rear of the jumpseat, where the cupholders fold out.

I read the rest of your post, sounds easy enough to do. Thanks for the info

if you get a chance during the mod, take a few pictures so the next member with the same question can learn from what you are doing.

they would appreciate it

Will do--iPhone pics aren't easiest to resize and upload but I might borrow my brother's SLR and snap away as I wrench
