Dual Alternators and Batteries

I want to know how I would go about installing two of these:

And what would be the most efficient way to connect them to two batteries, one of which is the starting battery and the other will be a Yellow Top running the stereo and amps? I was thinking probably a solenoid but I'm not sure.

custom brackets will need to be made and wire both + together and both - together on the battery then just hook the alternators to one of the batteries

Why not just use a battery isolator?

I would but I'm not too intent on spending 400 dollars on a big *** 16 pound Sure Power isolator. Would it be a good idea to get a Hellroaring BIC-75300A?
