9007 Bulb 12V 100/80W

Has anybody ever used higher wattage blubs?? 9007 Bulb 12V 100/80W... I have a 1997 F150 I'm wanting to use them on.. Any issues with wiring harness?? Pros, Cons?? Also, what about 80 watts 9006?? Any intell from this knowledgeable group of people would be totally awesome...

From the wiring side, anything higher than stock wattage, you want to use an external harness with relays triggered by the factory wiring and with a fused connection to the battery.
Something like this

You can DIY make one if you get the bulb connectors and have the relays.

On the side of the headlamp housing, don't know if it will put up for the heat or not. They could yellow or develop melted spots. This part is all supposition on my part, from what I have seen members post in the past.
