That's why I couldn't find it, it's not like that or on the end either. It's a 4X4, I don't know if it makes any difference. It is the newer body style 04-08

That is actually the part for recall 05S28 - Speed Control Deactivation Switch.

Last Ford P/N I have for it is : 1L1Z-9F924-AA

That is not for the 2004 -2008 MY series truck.

The picture in the URL above ( posted by Bluejay ) is at the top of the brake pedal inside the truck.

Do you have a problem with the VSS or the cruise control ?

I agree SSCULLY, that is part for my 2000 Expedition.

My cruise control would only work when it wanted to and I know it sounds weird but the headlights had to be on for it to work. Now it just quit working all together. This was suggested by a mechanic friend of mine as a possible fix. I figured for $12.00 it wouldn't
hurt.

Did you change to LED tail lights or a LED CHMSL ?

Do the stop lamps work as normal ?
