After a long hiatus of owning a Ford truck we recently purchased a loaded 2008 FX2. All we received in the transaction was one solo key. Thus I knew we needed at a minimum the RKE remotes. But I noticed there was a dipole antenna mounted behind the rearview mirror and after investigating found an OEM remote start unit up under the dash! It's the 7L2Z-19G364-AA kit with the PC-14 7L2J-19G367-AA brain with the 7L2J-19A498-AA DNA module - the Bronze remote start only system. This system uses the one-button remote. So, my question is - since I really don'e want two remotes on my keychain - is it possible to program the 7L3J-15K601-AA remote to work with the remote start and the original RKE system - or do I need to upgrade the remote start to the PC-34 system with the GOLD DNA module?
