04 f 150 xlt club cab triton

I have a problem with the electric windows, it has been really hot here and i noticed passenger window getting sluggish, then it quit working, i smacked the driver side buttons and it started workin a couple more times, then the passenger back window done the same thing in the afternoon, now neither one will work, should i start with the switches or the motors,

kowboy in mo.
It's probably the window regulators. They break all the time.

yes both driver side windows work great, now the passenger door window has started working again on its own, like after the door was shut or something,
and where would the regulators be found at,

when the window (s) are not working, when you press the button, do the interior lights in cab dim ?

This is a check if this power window motor is drawing power, but not moving.

If the interior lights do not dim, it is a case of the motor is not drawing power, which could be a bad power window motor, or a broken wire in the driver's side door to a pillar rubber boot.

I would not suspect the wire to be broken, considering at the same time the rear driver's side window is working correctly ( or is it ? )
