alternator

Im thinking of changing my alternator to a much bigger amp one,..does any one know what brand to look in to??

Try and find a Motorcraft from a CV police cruiser. They have been 200A or more for the last 7 or 8 years and come with a clutch pulley.

It would help to know what vehicle you have, what alternator it has now, and why you think you need one with higher output. Even a 200A alternator will only put out what the truck needs at that moment, so if you don't need 200A, there's no reason to buy one. And the alt. isn't the ONLY thing you have to change to get 200A out of it - there's also the charge wire, the fuse/fusible link wire, and any other circuits that will carry the increased load.
