Viper remote start Problem

I have a viper remote start and alarm on my 2007 4.6 liter v8 f150. I have had a problem with it twice going off un controlably. The sound of the alarm is going off with out the truck being in alarm meaning my remote doesn't activate and the lights don't flash just the noise. this is the second time it has happened the first time it stopped a few days later. I have disconnected the speaker so i don't have to listen to it for now. I hate to take it to the dealer because it was a gift and i don't have the reciept to get it covered under warrentee. i have tried to get the reciept to be able to get it warenteed and he can't find it. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it.

Is the volume of the siren loud or is it weaker sounding then when you set it off.
if it's weaker sounding the alarm brain has a bad ground wire connection.

Rumbler - I moved your thread to the electrical section because I think you'll get more help here.
