Looking for wiring diagram for the taillights on my 03 screw. they're inoperative. Checked fuses etc. found some green disease back where someone has incredibly butchered installing a 7pin plug. I have no tails or plate lights. brakes signals are ok. The headlights parklights do come on though. So it must be back at this wiring. If anybody has the diagram it'd be greatly appreciated.

The butcher job, is this to the factory wiring ?

If so, start by removing this from the truck, the trailer tow adapter are separate circuits.

Here is the diagram for the rear of the truck, the wire for the parking lamps ( both front and rear ) is the brown wire.

 

Thats what I'm working with. Looks like somebody has wired into the factory harness.

Time to start repalcing the bulb connectors back to the truck's harness. You should be able to find the bulb connectors from a bone yard to keep the costs down, and have the correct quarter turn bulb holder for the tail lamps.

Just cut as far back under the truck as you can with all of it. You might get lucky and find one with the spare out, and just unplug it from the connector by the spare tire on the driver's side frame rail.
