trailer lights

I have a 2009 Supercrew 4x4. Weather I am hooked up to my boat or utility trailer, the only light that works on the trailer is the right hand turn signal. I cannot see a blown fuse. What gives?

On the 09+ MY, the same fuse is used for the Left & Right stop / Turn signals, it feeds the relay for each side.

Have you used a meter to check the 4 pin adapter, and confirm that the left stop / turn is dead ?

In the engine compartment fuse panel, reverse the Left & Right stop / turn relays, to see if the problem stay on the left or moves to the right.

If it moves the relay is the issue.
