Steve, I've always done all my own work on the house and that includes electrical. I have in the past changed all the switches to the low profile soft touch and have recently replaced all the outlets in the house because they were getting a little old but especially because whenever I wanted to plug in a grounded plug, the original were mostly 2 prong. A few grounded 3 prong but never one where I wanted to plug a 3 prong in. So the whole house got changed to 3 prong and pulled the (puny) ground from the clip on the box to the inside and screwed it in. Boy did those electricians have it easy back then compared to today. The clipped ground, and the 14 ga push in wire. Using 12 ga whenever I add or replace and the heavier ground inside and screwed eyelets (guess that's what you'd call them when you form 'em) is sure not as easy as the builders electrician had it. I also hate the push in and won't use 'em. I always wondered how they ever got approved originally.
Yea, 2 different frames I guess!
