LED flashed help

Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody could help me install the ep27 flasher in my 2000 f150. I can see a place where it can go but the housing doesn't fit and I do not know if it is correct. Thank you for any help

They only fit one way, so I don't understand. If the prongs line up then it fits.....Is there an obstruction in the way so that the flasher does not slide in all the way?

Dumb question from me, did you accidentally pull the blower motor relay ?

Both the flasher and the blower motor relay are in the same relay base under the dash. ( note the pin direction change between the 2 )

The other thought ( which would not make any sense ), are the terminal prongs the same width ? ( ~/< 1/4" ) ? A flasher should be the same over all mfgrs, but should is the optimal word there.

There is only one space that is open for it and the prongs line up. It almost seems as if the original relays are in the way. Or that the space for the flasher to slide all the way in isn't large enough. I haven't moved or removed anything. It's just confusing. Just to be sure, I'm doing this where the fuzes are. Is that the right place or am I in the wrong location?

So you are arbitrarily installing the flasher where there is an opening ????

Might you think removing the factory flasher, and installing the new flasher in the same place would be the right thing to do ( you do want to change the factory flasher ) ?

Where I was looking there was nothing this size or shape to remove and that's kinda why I was confused
