Engage the air-conditioning. (May require other initial conditions)

That'll turn on one of them. For the other, you may need to let it idle a while to reach turn-on temps.

Otherwise - need a dealer's scantool to send the command.

Will the fan for the air conditioning come on any other time besides when the air conditioning is on?

Possibly for other modes where dehumidification is engaged - defrost position for one.

And - I think, if engine cooling needs warrant it both efans will run ( not sure how a 2010 is configured ).

Well, the only reason I think it is the fan is becouse my truck only makes the sound every week or two and the tempurature outside is cold so that is why I would think it would be one of the fans.

Isn't it still under warranty? Take it to a dealership & let them find/fix it.
