So.....I installed headlights retrofitted with hids. After installation I noticed my abs light was on which was probally caused from disconnecting the battery but then I noticed my windshield wipers will not work. When turn them on my high beam indicator light comes on also if I press the sprayer fluid it does the same. But it does not actually turn the highs. I did have a problem disconnecting the battery and had a few sparks. Any thoughts?

 

do the lights themselves work correctly? Maybe you popped a fuse and the headlights are shorted out or something.

also how do you have the headlights wired? Are you using a dedicated relay and power wire?

 

Which battery cable did you disconnect, the positive or the negative? One should always disconnect the negative battery cable first and connect it last.

 

Thanks for all the suggestions......I found the problem it was the ground from that headlight, it was under a couple of other grounds on the same screw which was loose....so I tightened the screw and whalla everything works and no warning lights....
