I have an '02 F150XL and I've been reading the threads about modding the light switch so the fog lights will work when the switch is in parking lot mode. I modified the switch per instructions so the arm will work. The issue comes down to the wiring. There are many threads but which one is accurate for a 2002? What wires get jumped, cut, and what fuses?
When I first did the modded install, I had fogs only with head lights and fog light indicator (as OEM). I re-installed it... nothing. No fogs, no switch lights, nada! Your thoughts?

 

Can anybody tell me which thread is the accurate mod for an '02?

If you did the ramp work and the switch is dead, either the connector is not in all the way, or you went a bit too far on the switch ramp mod.

 

Thanks Scully. If I have this right, I did the ramp mod so now I just need to jumper the brown wire to the white with black stripe and remove the #27 fuse? Thanks for the help.
