Are you sure it is the seat belt warning chime ( should also have the seat belt indicator on the cluster ) ?

When you turn the key from off to run ( do not start ), does the airbag indicator illuminate ?

The warning chime is disabled and it is going off with the seat belt attached ?

You have never changed the battery since 2002 ?
