2001 King Ranch Remote Start Problem
Just happened for the second time in a row (second day) - when I push the blue button to remote start my 2001 F150 King Ranch it just cranks without starting. I can start it normally when I enter the truck.
This has me stumped for everything has been working properly (Ford Gold remote start system installed back in 2002).
Any suggestions???????

Take a look at the dash when you get the crank no start, is the theft light flashing when this happens ?
Could be the PATS bypass needs the techtip applied to it
Could also be a few other things, like a cold solder joint that just gave up on the tach sense wire, or the hood latch ( the last one should be no crank no start ), but start with the indicators on what is happening when the crank no start is going on.
