Problem with brake lights/turn signals

Hey. I did a search and just didn't come up with anything. I have a 2003 Lightning. I'm having a weird problem with my tail lights. The brake lights and turn signals are doing some strange things. Here are the scenarios:

1) head lights off, brake lights light when pedal is depressed.
2) head lights on, parking lights light, but when the pedal is depressed the tail lights go completely dark. The third brake light still works properly.
3) whenever I turn on the turn singles (left or right), the front turn signals work properly. However, in the rear, both turn signals and the third brake light all flash like the hazards are on (except the third brake light flashes too).

All fuses are good. Any ideas what could cause this? Thanks.

All these systems converge in the multifunction switch on the steering column. Could be the switch, wiring or connector(s).

I'd probably start with the multi function switch too

Thanks. After some looking, it ended up being a bunch of broken/loose connectors under the truck, as well as one in the interior. Apparently, when the truck had its bed off, the shop yanked some wires... Nice. Thanks for the responses.
