12V switched source

I am installing a digital boost and wideband gauge, I need a 12V switched power source that is at least close to the A pillar where I'm putting my gauge pod. I grounded off the engine block, but I don't have a volt meter to find a hot wire. So if you could describe the location and wire color, I need one that comes on with the key turned on. Thanks!

Use an add-a-fuse in the slot for the radio to create a new circuit that is hot in run / accy position.

Run the wire under the dash, following the orange antenna wire to the center trim panel, and then with the wires under the knee panel on the driver's side.
