cluster swap

I have access to a 2001 expy, it has a instrument cluster that has a tach. The question is will that tach work in my 2003 f150 xl. If so is it a direct fit? Any ideas or advice would be great. Thanks

Seem to recall a few differences between the EPXPY F-150 Cluster. Not 1:1 pin compatible. I could be wrong about that, saw it in a thread here.

At the very least you will need to have the PATS key erased from the new Cluster's HEC and have 2 new keys programmed ( part of the same erase all stored keys procedure ) when you get the new cluster in.

you will need to run a wire for the tach IIRC as well as get it programed to your truck
