you guys got me thinking

after reading some of the threads on here, it made me think, that some of dash lights stopped working at the same time my power locks stopped working. i just checked the fuses and all where good. Have not checked the distr. panel under hood yet. Is there anyone with suggestions or had this problem. the locks try to unlock and lock with button and fob, but barely move. no lights at heat and air controls and no lights at door lock and window buttons also. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

The locks I would think is the lock actuator gummed up. You can trying cleaning them or replacing them

The instrument illumination has nothing to do with the locks ( different fuses and circuits ). Did you check the fuse for the instrument illumination ? You need the main headlamp switch turned to at least the park position when you check it with a meter.

Look ??? The meter shows power n both pins or not, pretty much a binary test, no look or think about it.
