no volt meter in my 2010? WTF

no volt meter in my 2010? WTF

did ford put them in some and not others?
gave a buddy a jump and when i hooked up cables i jumped in and started to look and low and behold no volt display could be found why ford why?
so i guess I'm asking why did ford not put it in and gave me a trans temp gage?

Have you read the owner's manual? Try checking the index for "volt...".

That looks to be the case, check your owners manual starting on page 12 for the cluster types.

Seems the message center and the battery indicator are the only factory items.

Easy enough to add a digital voltage gauge, Datel makes some nice Volt & amp digital meters that can be surface mounted. The amp meter has the built in shunt and external shunt options.

You can kind of see the Datel volt meter on the left behind the iPass holder.

The factory gauge is the next-best thing to useless anyway ...
