DTC 0325, 0430 (knock sensors?)

I have been getting codes P0325 and P0430 lately. I think I read 325 was knock sensor 1 circuit malfunction , and 430 was similar. Talked to a local mechanic and he didn't think it was the knock sensors themselves because the code reads "knock sensor circuit". Does this sound right or is it just the wording of the code?

Might get an answer on the question if you posted it in the correct forum.

This is really a V6 or V8 Engine question, not an electrical question.

BTW : Those type of people do read the forums, the ones that are applicable to these questions.
