Then why waste your time adding to the thread...? If you're going to be negative why be on here.

So which is it, you don't have an owners manual, or you do ?

Maybe try CTRL-F in your PDF reader, and type in a search term ??

Good luck getting an answer in the future with the attitude you have towards the members here, wanting to help for free

I do not have an owner's manual, I have the Adobe PDF Owner's Manual which is as useless as a dodge when it comes to anything, especially error codes, flashing lights, or audible warnings. So I come here and ask for help and I get some negative person.. It's not my attitude that's the problem here.

Considering you DO have an Owners Manual ( the PDF and the printed copy are both Owners Manuals, the exact same info ).

Try again, it is not useless in this case, actually the PDF makes it quicker to find the answer.
You also post it is the "most obvious information", but you had no clue it was in there ??

Open the 2003 PDF version of the Owners Manual, press and hold CTRL and press F. Type in the search term beep.
Only 1 result is found in the 2003 OM, on page 116.

That is useless ??

Seems like it explains exactly what the error code is, and what needs to be done.

Too lazy to do a search in the PDF version of the OM ( or here for that fact ) but you have all sorts of time to come back with wise *** posts.

Good luck getting help with your next problem on this forum.

How 2 kill the beeps and dis-arm passenger airbag

Had a repair done to my truck ford f150 2004 (ignition coil and sparkplug), mechanic reset the codes and then I started hearing 5 chimes for 5 times and every half hour it comes on, as long as truck is running! No accidents ever and no problems before. Clockspring problem usually will have something else go wrong with it, like pwrstr or turn signal will go out as well. On mine everything works except the little airbag indicator light. Pulled the relay for the airbag and light came on, but auto windows wouldn't go down. Now I know the light is not burned out. I do not like, nor want an airbag = this is what seatbelts are for. Dealer wants $150 to diag. and then probably $800 - $1200 to fix problem, best case scenario they said low $500 to fix plus diag.
I am not paying for something I do not want, if I could rip the chimes out, I would. I found a fix for me. I pulled the little fuse for the airbag, module and cluster. I disconnected the passenger seat connector as well and problem solved! No ding and passenger airbag is no longer in use and for me, its a win win situation. Talked to my mechanic and said all will be fine driving without this fuse, because this is all this fuse does, as long as I know that even in an accident, that the passenger airbag will not go off.
