Help! Front driver window grinding?

I have a 05 f150 supercrew. I just noticed yesterday my front drivers side window was making a grinding noise when I put it up cant see anything like a rock grinding on it so I am assuming I will have to replace the regulator/motor assembly? I have had my front passenger window and rear drivers side fail in the last 2 months but they just fell down and wouldnt go up while the motor ran. any help is greatly appreciated just going to buy it off tasca its like $100 there plus shiping vs local stealership for $189.
Thanks
Dave

Got it!

Well tore the panel off to find that one of theplastic window retainers which has a top and bottom tab that glide on the metal rail. The one tab cracked and was dragging so it on has one tab on that side now lube with white lithium grease runs good now.
Thanks
Dave

Window fell down

Great that you found your problem with the grinding noise. You mentioned that previously you had problems with windows on the passenger side falling down. I have that problem with the driver's window on my 2004 F150. So I thought perhaps you could provide me with some tips on how to remove the interior panel and what the likely problem with the window is. Of course, the window would fall down during a heavy rainstorm.
