RTFM! It's pretty easy, but have all the remotes handy before you start the procedure:

Turn key from OFF to RUN (not Start!) 8 times quickly and then leave it in RUN. The locks will cycle indicating you are in 'Program Mode'. Press any button on the first remote, the locks will cycle to confirm it has been programmed. Do the same with the other remotes (up to four?). After you have programmed all the remotes, turn the ignition OFF and the locks will cycle once more.

You must re-program all your remotes at the same time as they are all erased when you enter 'Program Mode'. Good Luck.

I have a 2000 XLT with the TRIAD system installed. I tried the above procedure and it never goes into program mode. It works fine on my Explorer. Anyone have any ideas??
