Turning Fog lamps on with only the parking lights on
I'm trying to figure out a way to use my factory fog lamps with my parking lights only. I have 2001 F-150, 4x4 with the offroad package and I don't need the use of the headlights with the fog lamps all the time.

I have done this. It requires a modifcation to the headlight switch. I have mine wired so I can turn them on with parking, low and high beams. (not all at the same time of course.)
There is a link on how to do the Mod somewhere i'll have to look for it. I did the mod to mine before i had even seen someone else do it. I thought I was the only one.
Let me know if your interested in modifing the switch.

Thanks, I tried one day to mod mine but all I could find at the time was for the trucks with autolamp on 98 and newer. After I got the switch out and noticed everything was different and never bothered posting on how to do it. Thanks, now I just have to find the time to do this.

HEy i just took mine apart and did the Mod everything in the 2001 are different the wires are moved but i still used the white with black stripe and the brown but the assembly i had to practically brake to get apart but it works thanks alot now i have fog lights while having only my day time running lights on SWEET!!!!!!!!!
