Check and make sure your battery cables are tight and have a good connection (no corrosion) at both ends. Sometimes the cables will be connected and lights, radio, etc will work, but the connection is still not good enought to start the truck. I've had this happend before.

I have a 2000 F-150 4x4 Lariat 5.4l. The problem is that is will start sometimes and not other times. Eample: Start truck drive to work, try start go home won't. (Seems to have good lights and other power, but won't do anything when turn key no sound etc.) Starts real easy if I jump it. May or may not start next am Example 2) Jump it. drive 4-5 miles, stop and start a couple times drive home. Try to restart immediately but nothing. Had someone check battery and alternator with some device ( I'm no mechanic) and they said alt and battery in good shape.
