I'm going to be installing one of those lighted Ford logos into my tailgate. I'll be cutting into one of the liscense plate lites for power. Can anyone tell me which color wire is the "positive"?

Well I'm not 100% on this but according to my Haynes manual license plate lammps have brown ( hot) wire and a black (ground) wire. Your Screw could be different. Just pull one out and check you can probably tell by looking if not just get your multimeter out.
