Lost tail-light operation
Check all your bulbs, I had a 88 s10 that if one bulb went out so did the other side ( wierest thing, shouldn't work that way). Also check all your wires especially underneath along the frame rail, something may have cut/yanked a wire into.

Get your multi meter or a 12v test light and see if you get power to your trailer light connector, if no power be sure to check all the fuses in the truck and under the hood.
