Question electronics turn off when shifting into Drive

I've got a 1999 f150 4x4 off road edition. The problem I have is that the radio, wipers, and 4x4 turn off when I go from park or neutral to drive or reverse. If I turn the heater blower off, after awhile the wipers come back, but the radio doesn't. I've had the windshield replaced before, and did notice that the problem happens more when it rains. Another thing is that when the problem occures, relays 4 and 5 click on and off. Anyone ever experience this. I have no warranty cause I have over 100,000 km's.

Thanks for any info.

sounds like my semi. When i turn off the a/c blower, the tv turns off. When i key up the mike on the cb, same thing. Strange but kinda handy when partner falls asleep during a movie and i cant reach the remote to turn it off, simply key it up. P{roblem solved. Cant quite get rid of the feedback through the stereo when i key up either, tried noise cancelling mikes and everything. Seems like a bad ground somewhere or something. Myabe your truck has ghosts like mine apparently does.

I say you have a short in your electrical system somewhere.

Your windsheild is leaking. (If you push out on the top left corner, I bet you can see the windsheild bulge out.)

The water runs down on the fuse box and the GEM module.
You have to get the windsheild sealed and replace the fuse box along with the GEM module.

Just a thought .I've heard of acc. problems being caused by a faulty remote starter. (A buddy's heater kept shutting off and his horn beeped by it self unplugged the remote start box solved prob.)
