Question Blows power door lock fuse

Several month's ago my 97 F150 started intermittently blowing the 15 amp power door lock fuse. Maybe just a coincidence but this started shortly after my Ford dealer had replaced a weak lock actuator in the driver's side door. I've been simply replacing the fuse and I'm good to go for another few weeks or days. Lately the problem is happening so frequenly that I decided the time had come to fix it. It seems that the fuse blows only after I've lowered and raised the driver's side power window so I've convinced myself that the window is causing a short in the power door lock circuit. Perhaps this developed when the dealer replaced the lock actuator(?). Another piece of info: when I lower the driver's side window there's a loud "screech" just as the window starts down. The passenger side window is as quiet as it ever was. I don't know if that has any relation to the fuse problem.

Has anyone experienced similar problems?

Thanks.
Tom

remove the door inner trim panel and check to make sure that the window regulator is not pinching any wiring
