This morning when I started my 1999 F-250, the air bag light came on and blinked a few times then stayed on. I turned the key to the off position and then started the truck again and the light blinked a few times then stayed on again. Has anyone here ever experienced this?? If so, what was the fix? Thanks. My suggestion would to be to take it to a dealer or experienced mechanic on air bags. That is why the light is there, it is to only let you know that there migth be a problem and to see a dealer. One slip up while working on those things can set one off possibly right in your face and they are not cheap to replace either. It could just be some simple but I would think the money invested in taking it to a dealer would be worth your safety.
