Post Turn off DRL

I have installed DRL on my '99 F-150 per the other messages on this board. What I want to do now, though, is have the option to manually turn them off, either via the headlight switch or another switch. Has anyone done this, or does anyone have any ideas for how to do this?

Thumbs up

I don't have them but I would think you would have to add a switch, something like an A/B switch and have the relay and the loop wired (the thing under the dash cover on top of the glove box) and switch between the 2.

Sounds like even if that would work, it would be an aweful lot of work for not much benefit. But like I said, I don't have the DRL's and I better stop thinking about it or I'll convince myself I need to do the mod to get them just for the heck of it.
