Question Rewiring of Tailights

I added some aftermarket back-up lights. Now I want to use the old reverse spot as turn signals and the parking lights while the top red part is used for braking and parking lights. If I am correct, there is only one wire which controls the brakes and turn signals. Is this correct? Any way of brining up wires from the trailer hitch connections that came with the truck to do this. Is this setup illegal? Any help is appreciaated.

Question

Anywhere to get a blinker signal other than from the front end of the truck from the actual front left and right blinkers?

Cool

You could try one of those tee connectors at most auto parts stores and leave your stocker trailer wiring intact.
