How to run wire into cab through fire wall?
Trying to find an opening in the fire wall to run some wires to my dashboard. Can't seem to find any, is there a way to go through the fire wall without drilling a hole. Or am I not seeing where I can squeeze the wire in.

There is a rubber boot the stering wheel shaft goes thru. You can poke a hole in there and run your wire thru there.

I ran a cb antenna cable thru a hole in the firewall which had a rubber plug in it. It's not far from the steering column. It is about 5 inches over from the steering column towards the passenger side.
I think vehicles availability of grommets varies, though I can't figure out based on what. My 98 F-150 (XLT) had NO visible grommets to run wires through and we had to drill holes to get grommets in. However, my friends 98 had a decent sized grommet to run wires through, his was an XL. My 2000 XLT has a very nice grommet to run wires through, about 1 - 2" wide and NO WIRES running through it! IT's amazingly perfect! I've already got 7 wires running through, and there is still lots of room available for more! It's sweet!
